Miss Mollie K. Jones, aged about twenty-one years, daughter of N. S. Jones, died at the residence of Dick Jones, near Taylorsville, Dec. 31, 1875, of small-pox. She suffered terribly with this loathsome disease for more than two weeks. Her father was the only one of the family with her. She was buried the next morning at 1 o'clock, at a grave yard some two or three miles north of this city. Miss Jones was a beautiful young lady and had not long since finished her education, and her death is regretted by all who knew her.
