EARL THOMAS, 84, of 1984 Kelmont Lane, Sissonville, died Dec. 12, 1989, in St. Francis Hospital after a long illness.

He was a member of Charleston Mountain Mission and retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford glass company, with 41 years' service.

Surviving: daughter, Dylena Jewell Murphey of Charleston; stepdaughters, Christine Rader of Cross Lanes, Sena Simms of Dunbar; sisters, DoucieHawkins of Clendenin, Myrtle Harper and Amanda Kee, both of Harmony, Lucy Lowe of Charleston, Irene Marshall of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Herby of Charleston, Roy of St. Albans, Denny of Harmony; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico.
