She was born April 13, 1921 in East Peoria to John and Regina Streitmatter Wiegand. She married Charles B. Boyle on March 7, 1948 in Washington, and he passed away December 15, 2009.
Surviving are her three children, Pamela Huebsch of East Peoria, Jim (Connie) Boyle of Tremont, and John (Kimberly) Boyle of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Kimberly ( Kevin) Reece, Chad (Julie) Loughrey, Jack (Courtney) Loughrey, Daniel Loughrey, John Boyle, Richard (Laurie) Boyle, and Jennifer Boyle; five great grandchildren, Brynley and Deegan Reece, Gavin Schroeder, and Lucy and Jack William Loughrey; one brother-in-law, John Baker of Shelbyville; and one sister-in-law, Gisela Karl of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by 14 siblings.
Louise worked at Caterpillar Inc. in Morton for many years.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
