Norma Vivian Lyons Martin, age 79, of Wilson Avenue, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Friday April 7, 2006, at Central Baptist Hospital, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born September 5, 1926, in Harrison County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Anna Mae Dennis Lyons. She was a member of Unity Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by: a son, Jerry Wayne Martin; two brothers, Raymond Lyons and Stanley Lyons; and two sisters, Ruby Webber and Christine Lyons. Survivors include: her husband, Joe D. Martin; a daughter, Carolyn (Rod) Kincaid, of Louisville; a brother, Garnett (Elsie) Lyons, of Cynthiana; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Battle Grove Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Howard Livingood. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
