Virgil Timothy Kappes or Tim, 72, died at Oviedo FL 26 October 2020. He was born 20 July 1948 in Beech Grove IN of Virgil John Kappes and Marcella Kappes (Ariens). A faithful husband, he married 28 March 1992. A loving father and grandfather, he educated professionally and aided many young people to be successful out of his generous heart. A teacher and coach, he retired from Franklin Central High School. A faithful Roman Catholic, he died in the Lord. A Vietnam veteran, he served with distinction, including purple heart and bronze star. He is survived by his wife Jenny, children Chris and Nadia (wife of Victor Martin Charcap), and grandchildren, Dominic, Ana Lucía, Agustin Timothy, and Victor Manuel, sister Marcianne, brothers Ted, Stephen, and Dave. His visitation will be 02 November, 2-7pm, at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood, and his funeral at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Franklin, 03 November, 11am. May his memory be eternal.
