Betty Louise Divine, 90, widow of Valace “Buck” Divine, died Friday, July 24, 2020 at Landmark of Danville. Born February 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lou Wilson Coyle. She was retired as a Cook from Shakertown after twenty- four years and was a member of Grapevine Christian Church. She enjoyed working in her flowers, cooking for her family, farming, and being a farmer’s wife.

Survivors include her children: Geraldine (the late Eddie) Cartwright of Mercer County, Donald “Butchie” (Carolyn) Divine of Lawrenceburg, Ernie Lee (Kathy) Divine of Mercer County, Ida Lou (Ben) Rankin of Mercer County, and Stephen (Deanna) Divine of Versailles. Eleven grandchildren: Janice (Scott) Bugg, Debbie (David) Teets, DeeDee (Lee) Sanders, Stephanie (Johnny) Clark, Katina Harrison, Lee (Missy) Divine, Joseph (Elizabeth) Rankin, Amanda (Rob) Wood, Jessica (Brandon) McKinney, Niki Divine, and Luke Divine; five step grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and two special nephews: Jim White and Jack White also survive.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Claude Waldridge officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Zachary Bugg, Ryan Sanders, Lee Divine, Joseph Rankin, Tristen Tyler, and Luke Divine serving as pallbearers.
