Tommy F. Arthur was born on July 20, 1938 in Hector, Arkansas to the late William Joel Arthur and Nona Whitworth. He went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the age of 75.
He served in the United States Air Force for over 21 years and was a disabled veteran. He served a tour in Vietnam from 1963 until 1964. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans - Little Rock Chapter, the Air Force Sergeant's Association, the Air Force Memorial Foundation and the National Association for Uniformed Service.
He was married to Blanche Paxton of DeWitt, Arkansas for over 52 years.
He has two daughters, Ellen, and her husband, Michael Archambault and Jo Ann Thieleman and Mark Downs. He has one grandson, Jacob Archambault and three granddaughters, Jennifer Archambault, Holly Thieleman and Jordan Thieleman.
Funeral services were on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
