Betty "B.J." Block, 52, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at her home. She was born February 9, 1955, to Eugene William and Mattie Joyce Block, in Rockwood, Tennessee. B.J. was a past president of the Baytown Area Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals and was employed at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital as Executive Secretary for the Director of Rehab. She was a member of Lakewood Church and was always ready to help anybody in need. She was also active in Adopt a Family program. B.J. was a devoted mother, daughter, fiancé, grandmother and a treasured friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her father, Eugene Block; brother, Dennis Block and grandmother, Minnie "Nanny" Bardin. She is survived by her daughter, Jenny White; son, Jody Robinson; mother, Joyce Block; fiancé, Thurman Robinson; grandchildren, Shelby White, Nicole White and Clay White and her "babies" Chichi and Yancy, her precious Chihuahuas.
Services were entrusted to Crespo and Jirrells Funeral Home of Baytown, Texas.
