EDWARD E PEREGRINE DEAD

Edward E. Peregrine, a well known citizen of Johnson township, was found dead at his home Sunday evening by Bert Whitsitt, who was passing and found him lying on the floor of his home. Mr. Whitsitt saw him as he passed earlier in the day but thought nothing of it, supposing he was asleep. On his returning to go home, he saw he was still in the same place, and went to see why, and found the body cold. He lived alone. He had long been a sufferer from heart trouble and had recently been informed by Dr. Robertson that he was liable to die as he did.
The deceased was a good citizen and held in high esteem and had many friends who will sincerely mourn his death. He was 61 years of age. He leaves three children, Mrs. Grant Phillips; Mrs. R. R. Whitsitt, of Jonesboro, Ark. and a son who lives with his sister, Mrs. Whitsitt.
The burial was at Wesley Chapel Tuesday afternoon.
