Note: Friday, Aug 2, 2013 - Until conclusive information is received as to Ann's actual place of interment, I am removing her memorial from the Antioch Cemetery listing in Jackson Co., OK and showing her burial location as "unknown". If you have any information, with proof, of her burial location, please contact me.
Note: Monday, Aug 5, 2013 - Received correspondence from Marian Ham Miller, a 2nd Great Granddaughter of Ann Emaline Zachry Peel, regarding the burial location of Ann. It follows:
Re Ann Emoline's burial place. I don't know if a marker was ever placed on her grave but the following from a letter written on 28 Mar. 1970, by Bamma (Peel) McCuistion, the daughter of Leonard Lawson Peel and GD of Ann Emoline, verifies Ann is buried in the Antioch Cemetery in Jackson Co., OK.
"Ann Zachry Peel passed away near Quanah (Hardeman Co., TX) and was buried in a cemetery across the Red River. At that time, it was in Greer County, OK, but since then it has become a part of Jackson Co. There was a country church at the cemetery called Antioch. It was not too far from Eldorado, OK."
Ann was living in the home of Leonard Lawson when she passed away and Bamma was about 16 years old at that time, so I believe her recollection was accurate.

Due to the above recent information, I am now placing Ann's memorial back into the burial listings for Antioch Cemetery.
Thank you, Marian, for the clarification.
