Obituary from Greenville Record Argus: Anna Mae Guesman, 70, of 44 North Second Street, Greenville, died at 8:08 p.m. Monday, March 9, 1998 at Horizon Hospital System, Greenville campus. Born March 18, 1927, in Greenville to George H. and Orla (Logue) Myers, she married W. Richard Guesman on April 21, 1962. He survives. A 1947 graduate of St. Michael School, she retired from Mr. Donut, Greenville, where she had been a clerk. She had also been a beautician. During World War II, she also worked at Camp Reynolds, Greenville. An artist well known for her oil paintings, she also enjoyed cake decorating and was an avid bowler. She belonged to the Young at Heart group of Greenville. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. Aside from her husband, she is survived by four sons, Richard Michael Guesman, David Guesman, Robert Mark Guesman and Dennis Guesman, all of Greenville, and several nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of her family, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Myers, Gerald Myers and Clarence Myers; an infant brother and two sisters, Genevieve Hovis and Georgene Reeher. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Msgr. A. Joseph Book of St. Michael Church as celebrant. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the Andrew H. Osborne III funeral home, Inc., 73-75 Columbia Ave. Greenville. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 85 N. High Street, Greenville, PA 16125. ADDITIONAL NOTE: She was a GREAT mother and friend!
