Zumbrota - Mrs. Helen Arendt, 73, Bellechester, Died Wednesday at Zumbrota Community Hospital. Born Jan. 4, 1909, in Goodhue Township, she was the former Helen Diercks. She married Lawrence Arendt Nov. 3, 1927, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellechester. The couple farmed in Chester Township, Wabasha County. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellechester. She is survived by her husband, Larence; four sons, Neil of MAzeppa, Gerald of Somerset, Wis., Nicholas of Lake City and THomas of New Hope; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Rosemary) Sheumaker of Omaha, Neb.; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildre; and two sister, Mrs. Cora Alms and Mrs. Elmer (Mildred) Siewert, both of Red Wing. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with REv. George Grafsky of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Pine Island officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Larson Funeral Home in Zumbrota Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday morning until 10 a.m. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. St. Mary's Altar Society will recite the rosary at 8:30 p.m.
