J. Mark Fuchs, aged 61 of Indian Head, MD passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

He was born in LaPlata, Maryland on May 19, 1958, son of Frances M. Fuchs and the late Lawrence S. Fuchs Sr.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence, his sister Diane Fuchs and brother Arnold “Moopsie” Fuchs.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Allen (Mike) and grandson Tyler Ryan, daughter Charity Fuchs and granddaughter Brianna Fuchs, brother Lawrence S. Fuchs Jr. (Heidi), twin-sister J. Michelle Simpson (Marion), nephews, nieces and countless friends.

He worked as a mason, baker and wood cutter.

He loved all animals, the great outdoors and he never met a spider or snake he didn’t like.

His hobbies were listening to music, shooting pool with his friends, fishing, boating, playing hearts, gardening, cooking, collecting bottles, playing practical jokes, treasure hunting at thrift stores and yard sales.
