Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Stephen Gaines, pastor of Covenant Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mr. Beaver was born July 1, 1923, in Amarillo. He worked as Vice President in charge of Trade relations for STP Corporation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Cavalry. Mr. Beaver was a member of Covenant Fellowship Church, formerly San Jacinto United Methodist.
Mr. Beaver also was a member of Amarillo Lodge No. 731 for 50 years, Amarillo Chapter No. 196, Amarillo Council No. 34, Amarillo Commandery No. 8, York Rite College No. 36 Lubbock, Royal Order of Scotland, Lubbock Scottish Rite-Charter Member, Charter Member Ambassadors, Amarillo DeMolay Chapter for 50 years, past Chairman of the Board Advisory Council-Amarillo, DeMolay Chapter, Chevalier, Active Legion of Honor, Texas State Preceptor Legion of Honor, Khiva Shrine-Life Member- P.C.M., P.P., Captain Emeritus Amarillo Patrol, Captain Emeritus Lubbock Patrol, Colonel Emeritus-Motor Escort, Past President Texas Shrine Motor Patrol Association 63-64, Elected director of Khiva Temple, Past Potentate Khiva Temple-1988, Recorder Khiva Temple-1993, Regional Deputy Director E.W.G.-Now Emeritus, Past Director Court 140-Royal Order of Justice.
He married Deanie Reed on Dec. 10, 1948, in Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife, Deanie Beaver; two sisters, Marion Scott of Davis, Okla., and Sallee Ann Williams of Tonto Basin, Ariz.; seven nieces; two nephews; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family suggest memorials be to Shriners Childrens Fund, in care of Khiva Temple, P.O. Box 328, Amarillo, TX 79105.
