Charles was a 23 year decorated veteran of the U.S. Navy and owned and operated a log truck after he retired. He was very active in his local VFW and his Sunday school class at First Baptist Church. He loved to tinker and work in the yard. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Pierce Boone and Paul Boone.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Boone of Queen City, Texas; daughter, Peggy Cullins and husband Johnny of Queen City, Texas; granddaughter, Jaci Cullins of Irving, Texas; sisters in law, Pat Boone of Redwater, Texas, Joye Boone of Queen City, Texas and a number of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 8:30 am, Wednesday, July 22, 2020, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, in Antioch Cemetery, with Bro. Wes Mills officiating.
