Betty Lou Campbell, 82, of McLeansboro died at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She retired from the former Elder Manufacturing Co. as a presser.
She was born November 23, 1917, in Hamilton County to the late Samuel and Ruth (Greer) Thomas. She married Wilburn Campbell and he preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a member of the Webbs Chapel Methodist Church and attended the Harvest Time Apostolic Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Carol Nipper and Vicki Bullock, both of McLeansboro, and Linda Allen of Mount Vernon, Indiana; three sons, Gary, Terry and the Rev. Larry, all of McLeansboro; and a sister, Sue Goin of Evansville.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2000 at Gholson Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Bob Pierce officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
