Helen passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday July 11, 2020, at the at age of 87. The daughter of LaVerne E. Alpaugh and Myrtle Elizabeth Elson. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Earl Seeley (Seal the Clown), whom she married on December 4, 1953 in Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Rochester; daughter, Deborah Seeley; sister, Phyllis Gligora; and brother, Robert Alpaugh.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Harry) Love; son, David Seeley; grandchildren, Chloe, Alex, Hailey, and Sydney (Lani) Love; great-grandson, Ashton Voorhees; many nieces and nephews.
Helen was an avid Euchre lover. Per her family’s request, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
