William Allen, a native of Long Beach, MS was born November 22, 1926 to the late Lewis F. and Lillian Allen. He was known to his friends and family as “Buddy”. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and worked in various areas of the construction industry. He served his country faithfully for many years in the United States Coast Guard Merchant Marine and was honorably discharged. He was an avid fisherman and always looked forward to family game night. Buddy was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. William Allen passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 surrounded by his loving family in Long Beach at the age of 92.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis F. and Lillian Allen, two daughters, Libby Allen and Deborah Hart and one son, Thomas E. Allen.

He is survived by his sons: Clifford (Sheila) Allen, Paul (Pam) Allen and Jack Allen; daughter: Phyllis (Wayne) Hunter; fifty-five grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
