Tempy Irene Hawkins, 90, 1613 Irvin St., died Wednesday in Henry County Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Clinton County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Church of the Bible Covenant.
Survivors include six daughters, Rosie (Mrs. Lee) Bell, Monticello, Ky., Reba (Mrs. Edgar) Pierce, Indianapolis, Geneva (Mrs. Basil) Johnson, Greenfield, Kathleen (Mrs. Byron) Marcum, Daleville, and Linda (Mrs. Billy) Coomer and Thelma Clark, both of New Castle; three sons, Henry Hawkins, Sciotville, Ohio, Elmer Hawkins Jr., New Castle, and Eliza Hawkins, Orlando, Fla.; 43 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren, and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Central Union Baptist Church, Monticello, Ky. Calling at Main & Frame Funeral Home is 5-9 today and 5-9 Saturday at Hickey Funeral Home in Monticello, Ky. Burial will be in Shoat Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky.
