E. Gertrude Noll, 95, of rural Spring Mills since 1977, formerly of Pleasant Gap for 50 years, died Thursday, December 6, 2001 at University Park Nursing Center in State College.
Born June 16, 1906, in Jeannette, she was a daughter of the late Edward H. and Isabella Findley Loughner. On January 6, 1928, she married Hoover W. Noll, who died August 11, 1987.
She attended Potter Township schools, frequently riding horseback to and from school. She was a homemaker and worked in food service at Penn State during the 1960s. She enjoyed handicrafts and gardening especially working with flowers
She was survived by a daughter, Betty Jean Korman of State College; two grandsons, Jay Korman of St Marys and Kris Korman of State College; and two sets of twin great-grandchildren, Jared and Lindsey Korman of St Marys and Andrew and Ashley Korman of State College.
Her funeral was held at Mark D Heintzelman Funeral Service ,Centre Hall, with the Reverend LeRoy Wion officiating.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.
