Mr. Barber had been in poor health for several years. One week previous to his death he suffered a stroke of paralysis and gradually failed until his death, which occured on Wednesday, July 11, 1906, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Wetmore , at Prattsburgh.
He was a good neighbor and highly respected and will be missed by a large ciircle of friends, who have known him from chiildhood. He was about eighty years of age.
He leaves a wife, one son and three daughters besides other realitives and friends to mourn his demise.
