Shirley I. Bachman Stewart, 96, of Cabot, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 14, 2020 at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, PA.
She was born February 18, 1924 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Henry J. Bachman and the late Hilda N. Risch.
Shirley was a lifetime member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a member of Bucco Trailer Club of Butler, and enjoyed square dancing.
Shirley is survived by her three sons, Ronald L. (Leslie) Stewart of Chicora, PA, David L. (Becky) Stewart of Butler, PA, Daniel L. (Maria) Stewart of Butler, PA; four granddaughters; six great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and brother, William Bachman of Conneaut Lake, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" C. Stewart, who she married on October 10, 1948, and who passed away on July 21, 2019; four brothers; and two sisters.
There will be no public visitation.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Butler County Memorial Park, with Pastor James Neal, S.T.S, officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
