Arthur Lee Parker, 78, of Pensacola, died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.

Mr. Parker was a native of Alabama but a resident of Pensacola since 1944. He was retired from the Bordens Dairy Company and a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Parker of Pensacola; three daughters, Mary Hardwick of Milton, Karen Armstrong and Linda Williamson, both of Pensacola; a son, Edward E. Parker of New Orleans; 17 grandchildren; a great grandson; two step sons, Jearl Wyrosdick and Randy Wyrosdick, both of Pace; a step daughter, Polly McCall of Destin, Fla.; five sisters, Mandy Wilson of Chattahoochee, Fla., Lena Bell Weeks and Della Mae Weeks, both of Elba, Ala., Vannie Fuller of Andalusia, Ala. and Alice Wyatt of Opp, Alabama and a brother, Walter Parker of Opp, Ala.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Faith Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Lonnie Owen officiating. Burial will follow at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Wade Burroughs, Bill Perry, Jim Perry, Wayne Roches, Mike Seymour and Johnnie Tyus.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Bush, Bob Sedberry, Ken Cranford, James Holland, Randall Cawthorne, Robert Belvin, Mack Odom, Len Cobb and Pat Earnest.
