She was a native of Alamance County.

Surviving are sons, James R. Allen of Gibsonville, William Ronald Allen of McLeansville; daughters, Mrs. Lyn Kendrick of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Eleanore Summers of Monticello, Mrs. Vickie Gill of Orlando, Fla.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
