Mr. Turnquist the son of Charles William and Myrtle (Smith) Turnquist was born in Webb on May 25, 1921. After retiring from farming, he moved to Chariton in 1976 from Sigourney. Dale also sold feed for Walnut Grove and Nutrena. On April 3, 2003, he moved to the Colonial Manor in Zearing.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Lucas
He is survived by two sons; Denny of LaCresent, Minnesota and Jim of New London; one daughter, Cindy Bowers of Zearing; one brother, Charles of Spencer, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
