Kahlert (1878-1962) and Paul Kahlert (1882-1913). Daughter Clara C. Kahlert was born about 1889 at Hamilton, Ohio, where she wed William M. Schieke, son of Prussian German immigrants Julius Schieke (1845-1932) and Anna Marie (Lotz) Schieke (1847-1928), a great-great aunt of Bruce Garver who created and manages Clara C. (Kahlert) Schieke's Find a Grave Memorial. The Kahlert family was traditionally Catholic, but Clara wed outside of this faith. Her husband, William Martin Schieke, is believed to have been a member of Hamilton's German Methodist Church.
