Excerpt -- Ottumwa -- Gail Tucker, 82, of 125 S. Fellows, Ottumwa, died Thursday at University Hospital in Iowa City. She was born July 16, 1904, in Marion County, to David Coe and Hattie H. McVay Norris. She married Ardis Marion Tucker on March 17, 1931; he preceded her in death on March 31, 1938. She lived in Oskaloosa until 1964, when she moved to Ottumwa. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter. Surviving are a son Tommy of Ottumwa; two daughters, Joyce Laud and Mrs. Dale (Sally) Allie of Oskaloosa; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ottumwa. The body will be cremated.
