Audrey Colleen Margetts "Wife, Mom & Grandma" Audrey Colleen Margetts passed away June 4, 2006. She was born June 14, 1929 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Joseph Vern Blanchard and Edna A. Gunderson. She married Glen Margetts May 12, 1948. They were later sealed May 25, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother. She was dedicated to her family. Her joy was getting together with family on holidays and special occasions. She loved life and enjoyed being around people. Mom and Dad's home was always open to anyone. She graduated from Jordan High School. She worked for U&I Sugar Company and was an election judge for several years. She was involved in PTA and community service. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings. For many years she was the ward and stake Young Women's president. She loved being in the ward choir and served as the choir president. She is survived by her husband, Glen; four sons, Steve, Sherm (Sherry), Paul (Brenda), Cory (Christy); sister, Shirley Beckstead (Shirl); ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Georgia Blanchard McIff. Preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Edward (Ted) Blanchard. The family wishes to express appreciation to Brent Mathews, Lynda Henrie, WylaGene Seal, ward members and caregivers of Avalon Valley Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006, 11 a.m. at the West Jordan 29th Ward Chapel, 6695 South 2200 West. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and Thursday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
