Henry Carthal Bridges, 57, of Hernando died Wednesday, July 7 at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bobbie McMullen Bridges; his mother, Mrs. Velma Bridges of Winona: one son, Roy Edwin Bridges of Helena, Arkansas: one daughter, Mrs. Dinah Bridges Apple of Marianna, Arkansas; one sister, Mrs. Geneva Hemphill of Grenada; and by three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Winona at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9 with Rev. W. E. Corkern officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were John William Bridges, Travis McClure, J. C. Alexander, Steve Watras, Bob Williams and Ben Ellis.
Honorary pallbearers were James Van Brown, Ralph Watts, Dee Willis, Guy Brown and Barksdale Garner.
