Mrs. Velma McCIure Bridges, 94, of Winona, died of heart failure Saturday, July 29, 1995, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at First Baptist Church in Winona with the Rev. Johnny Walker officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Bridges was the widow of Sell Boyd Bridges and the daughter of the late John H. McCIure and Fannie M. Lenard McCIure. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona and a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 78.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Bobbie Jean Bridges of Mananna, Ark.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Willingham, Talmadge "Tee" Golding, Billy Costilow, Bill Bryan, George Weaver and Joe Hardin.
Honorary pallbearers were Travis McCIure, Barksdale Garner, Ralph Watts and Wade Barnhill.
