Charles was the son of John T. Andrews and Margaret J. Carson. He married Emma Mills Andrews in Uxbridge, MA on 01 January 1918. They had one daughter Virginia who was born October 26, 1918. Emma died 27 May 1921 in Uxbridge, MA.

Harrisonburg - Charles Nelson Andrews, 89, formerly of Harrisonburg, died Wednesday evening (Aug. 20, 1975) at Bridgwater Home for the Aging where he had be living since August 1974. He had been ill for some time.

A son of John F. and Margaret Jane (Carson) Andrews. He was born May 13, 1886 at Sangersville.

He was a retired electrician and was a member of Staunton Church of the Brethren and had attended the Harrisonburg Church of the Brethren where he sang in the church choir many years. He was a member of the mens bible class of the Harrisonburg church.

He married Emma A. Mills who died May 27, 1921. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Virginia Long of Verona and A. Nelson Edwards of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted a 2 p.m. today from the chapel of Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home by the Rev. Ross Speicher. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge, Mass.
