The body of the late Joel Andrews, Sr., who died at Scottsbluff, arrived in the city today on No. 4 and the funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Alda from the Friends church. Undertaker Stevens will have charge of the remains.

JOEL H. ANDREWS

Joel H. Andrews, sr., died Sunday evening at 6:30 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daisy Greenfield, in Scottsbluff, Neb. Mr. Andrews was a veteran of the civil war and has been a member of the Soldiers' Home for the past four years previous to his death, having been visiting in Scottsbluff when the end came. Mr. Andrews had been ailing for some time from wounds he received in the war of which he never was relieved and died at the age of 73 years. He was one of the old homesteaders from near Alda. He leaves to mourn his loss four sons and two daughters, his wife having preceded him in death a number of years ago. The children are Joel, Alda; William, New York; Charles and Ira, Scottsbluff and Mrs. Mary McMullen, Keystone, and Mrs. Daisy Greenfield, Scottsbluff. The funeral will be held Wednesday, but the time has not as yet been set, interment will be in the Alda cemetery.
