Mrs. Katharine Singer died at eleven-thirty o'clock last night at her residence, 820 South Beretania street, after an illness an illness of about four weeks.
She leaves four children, Mrs. Julius Asch, Mrs. W. W. Boyd, Mrs. Bertha Smith, all of this city, and
C. L. Singer of Portland. 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive her.
Mrs. Singer, was the wife of Carl Singer, who died here thirty-three years ago, was the originator of Singer's Bakery many years ago. She had been a resident of Honolulu for more than fifty-nine years. She was born in Württemberg, Germany, November 16, 1835.
The funeral will be held from William's undertaking parlors, Sunday at three p.m. Interment will be in the family plot in Nuuanu Cemetery.
