Mrs. Potter is survived by 5 children, Donna Potter Snell of Ida Grove; Rex E. Potter of Patterson, N.J.; Ethel Potter Forney of St. Petersburg, Fl.; Herbert G. Potter of Anoka, Mn.; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mr. Steve Pierce, of Decorah, Iowa.
Mr. and Mrs. Potter came to Ida County in 1898 and lived in the county for the remainder of their lives. At first, they farmed, then operated a hardware store in Arthur, Iowa, and for 21 years a grocery store in Ida Grove.
