Neoma Louise Schueler was born on December 5, 1920 in Garrison, Iowa to Nickolas and Silvia (Grimm) Schueler. She married Glen M. Anderson on March 17, 1935 in Savanna. He died on April 4, 1978. Neoma worked at the Savanna Proving Grounds, GE Manufacturing in Morrison, Illinois, many local restaurants and retired from Eaton Corporation in Savanna. She was also Mom to four special grandchildren; Shelly Sopkowski, Richard Wacker, Carey Wacker and Derek Von Essen. Neoma loved family get togethers. She enjoyed cooking and could feed an army.
Neoma is survived by long-time companion, Eddie Blasko; three sisters, Frances (Susie) Cain of Atkins, Iowa, Millie Otdoerfer of Strawberry Point, Iowa and Helen Jacobus of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one brother, Russell Schueler of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Joan (Harvey) Talbot of Savanna, Illinois and Heloise (Perry) Caven of Sherburn, Minnesota; Seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three daughters; Vicky in 1947, Glenda Wacker in 1967, and Barbara Disher in 2007; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three sisters, Evelyn Cargin, Lula Anderson and June Brown; three brothers, Johnny, Edward and Clifford Schueler.
