Gunhild Grenager was the wife of Abraham Grenager and the mother of Engebrecht Grenager, Ragnhild Grenager Miller, Gudrun Grenager Stoltenberg, Sigrid Grenager, Margot Grenager Parmley Johnston, and Dagney Grenager Douglass. She arrived in New York from Norway 2 May 1884 on the ship Geiser. Gunhild died in a house fire. There is no marker on her grave.
Gunhild's mother, Signe, died 8 August 1913 in Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin and was originally buried in Layman's/Pioneers & Soldiers Cemetery in Minneapolis, but was removed to Superior, Wisconsin in September 1921.
