DONNA M. (D'AMICO) O'LEARY

Donna M. (D'Amico) O'Leary, 81, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on July 1, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.

Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Laurino and Filomena (Tirabassi) D'Amico.

Donna graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1957.

On November 26, 1959, she married Thomas P. O'Leary at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. O'Leary predeceased her on July 16, 2009.

During her high school years, Donna worked at Stella's Tots to Teens Store. After graduation, she worked at Marine Midland Bank, and later at Kimberly Clark Corporation as an office clerk until 1960, when she became a stay at home Mom.

She cherished the time spent with her family, and loved supporting her grandchildren at all of their events. From soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, band, chorus, musicals, debate club and robotics, she never missed an opportunity to enthusiastically cheer on her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her sons, Michael A. (Pamela) O'Leary, Kings Park, NY; Dennis J. (Debra) O'Leary, Grand Island, NY; and Mark J. (Carol) O'Leary, Boca Raton, FL; six grandchildren, Matthew, Allison, Meaghan, Kevin, Sean and Patrick; her sister, Suzanne (Sam) Floro, her sister in law, Jennie Borgese, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Donna was predeceased by her sister, Adeline (Joe) Vitale, and her brothers, Louis "Red" (Evelyn) D'Amico and John (Jennie) Cicchetti as well as her sister in law MaryEllen O'Leary.

Donna graciously donated her body to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 10 AM at St. Peter's R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna's memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240 or to Lewiston Fire Company, No. 1, 145 North 6th Street, Lewiston, NY 14092.
