Mildred C. McCall, 81, of New Bethlehem RD 2 died in Tuesday afternoon at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born February 25, 1912, in Sligo, she was a daughter of the late David G. and Wilmina C. Logue Bashline.
On June 15, 1932, she married Kenneth L. McCall. He died in October 1989.
Mrs. McCall was a homemaker and was a member of the Leatherwood Church, where she was active in the Leatherwood Faith and Action Group.
She also was a member of the Clarion County Historical Society.
Surviving is a sister, Lottie McCall of Sligo RD 2; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Norris Bashline, Harry Bashline, Forrest Bashline, Ralph Bashline and Raymond Bashline; and three sisters, Gertrude Rimer, Bernice Peters Krotzer and Viola Eaton.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Varner Funeral Home in Sligo.
Friends also will be received from noon until the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Rev. C.M. Schwab, a retired Methodist minsiter, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Rimersburg Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
