MARION - Jasper Lee Collins, 67, of White, GA, formerly of Marion, passed away at his home Thursday, January 17, 2019 after a brief illness.
Jasper was born March 20, 1951 in Marion, a son to Doris Hayes Turner and the late Earl Zack “Buddy” Turner. Jasper, a retired contractor, loved hunting and fishing and would go every time he got a chance.
Surviving Jasper are two daughters, LeeAnne Collins Wilson and Christi Collins (Jack) Graham, both of Mullins; his brother and sisters, Jolie Collins of Early Branch, Earline and Jackie Nesbit of Marion and Vicky Williamson of Marion; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Allan Black officiating. A private family burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
