Bailey (Baley in some documents) Anderson married Winniford Bozeman, and they had a son Dr. Thornton Freeman (TF) Anderson. Bailey was murdered by his slave, Sterling (through research) with an ax. Winniford and Thornton moved back to Kentucky after his death. Burial is unknown.

"Sterling, a slave of Bailey Anderson, was indicted for killing his master at the navy yard February 18, 1850, and was hung at Raleigh June 22, 1851."
