Floyd Alvin Rose, also known as "Tug" and "Bumpa", was finally reunited with Joanna "Grammy", the love of his life, on July 6, 2020.
He was the loving father of his children, Susan and Gary Mortensen and David and Cheri Rose. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Rainey, Ron (Holly) Mortensen, Kyle Rose, and Amanda (Pete) Wyman. His great-grandchildren include Bridgette and Brandon Rainey, Jaynee (Kasey) Poel, Isaac (Claudia) Mortensen, Gavin Mortensen, Greyson and Brooklyn Wyman and his great great grandchildren Mary Kaye Poel and Knox Mortensen.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 12, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. They will receive friends again, Monday, July 13 from
2 pm until 3 pm with a Graveside Service at 3 pm at Spring Grove Cemetery in Bloomingdale, MI. His cousin Bill Rose will officiate.
