CAMBRIDGE – Walter Giese, 69, a farmer in the Town of Oakland, died of an apparent heart attack yesterday while visiting in the home of a son, Robert, Rt. 3, Edgerton. Born in Appleton, Minn., Sept. 4, 1898, he was married Jan. 16, 1924, to Doris Furhop. Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Nick Triana, Watertown, Mrs. Werner Stauffer Jr., Helenville, Mrs. Ardon Hoel, Evansville, and Mrs. John Bergenz, Cambridge; two sons, Robert, Edgerton, and Merlin, Mesa, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Jones, Watertown, and Mrs. Frieda Luedtke, Fort Atkinson; three brothers, William, Max, N.D., Fred, Appleton, Minn., and Reinhard, Jefferson. Burial in Immanuel Cemetery, Watertown.
