The Mayís Prairie Cemetery is near the junction of Road X6A and another road 1.3 miles
nearly due north of Church (Churchtown), Iowa.

The obit is from the Waukon Democrat, August 22, 1907.
After a continuos illness of several months with cancer of the liver, Mrs. Fred Riser passed away at her home in this township on the 17th, at the age of 60. Her maiden name was Eva Margaret Schwartz, and she was born in Ohio. Her marriage to Mr. Riser took place on March 10th 1864.
Thirteen children were born of this union,
two of whom are dead. She also exercised a mother's care and watchfulness over several stepchildren. Funeral was held Monday, intermet being in Mays Prairie cemetery.stepchildren. Funeral was held Monday, intermet being in Mays Prairie cemetery.
