GRETNA - Mrs. Pearl Elmore Berger, 74, of Gretna Rt. 1 died last night in Danville Memorial Hospital Hospital.
Born in Richmond, Ind., February 2 (13), 1903, a daughter of the late J. Floyd and Della Reynolds Elmore, she retired from the Gretna Senior High School English Department in 1973.
Survivors include a son and two daughters, Capt. Robert David Berger of Deerfield, NH, and Mrs. Sterling Camden and Miss Ann Berger, both of Gretna; a brother, William F. Elmore of Louisville, KY; a sister, Mrs. Callie Peavy of Pensacola, Fla; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Greenfield Baptist Church, where she was a member and former Sunday School teacher. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
