Katherine Lockeby age 76, of Warren, Ark; died Wednesday, August 29 at Montgomery County Nursing Center in Mt. Ida, Ark. She was born April 27th, 1931 in Bradley County Ark;, a daughter of the late James Addison Burks and Lena Mae Groves Burks. She was a retired nurse's aid for Wagnon Place Nursing Home and a member of Martins Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Verdo Lockeby on December 25, 1982 and they were united in marriage December 2, 1951 in Nashville, Ark. Also proceeding her in death, a sister Frances Chennault and a grandchild Robin Harrelson. Survivors are, 1 son, Glenn Lockeby and spouse Candy, Norman, Ark;. 2 daughters, Kathy Harrelson and spouse Jerry, Ward, Ark.; and Stacey Lloyd and spouse Jerald, Hot Springs, Ark. 2 sisters, Lois Woodall and Gladys Maxwell both of Paris, TX. 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services, 10:00am Saturday, September 1st, Frazer's Chapel. Burial Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6pm to 8pm Friday, August 31 at Frazer's.
