Lena Marie Weatherford Orander 59 of Hephzibah, Ga.died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in Waynesboro Ga.after an extended illness. She was the daughter of
Milledge Andrew Weatherford and
Roberta Phillips Weatherford .She is the wife of
James Boaz Orander of Hephzibah Ga.was a member of Blythe Baptist Church. survivors in addition to her husband are four sons
James Edward Orander and
Bernard Hillary Orander of Augusta,
Jimmie Andrew Orander of Aiken SC. and Judson F. Orander Of Everett, Mass. four daughters
Callie Ann Orander Newman, Roberta Powell and Mary Walden all of Augusta and
Janet "Net" Orander Jones Mitchum of Hephzibah. two brothers,
Albert Luther Weatherford of Augusta and
William Harvey Weatherford of Hephzibah, two sisters
Elizabeth Mae Weatherford McNair of Wrens and
Rebie Ann Weatherford Perkins of Augusta 16 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.She was preceaded in death by two brothers
Milledge Robert Weatherford , and
Clarence Edward Weatherford.Pallbearers will be C.L.Johnson, Ira James, Harry Dozier, Tom Jones, Vester Hayes and Robert Council. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Dozier, Frank Turner, Harper Trowbridge, Wayne Dye, Larry Snell, DR.Robert Voyles, H.H, McDermon and Roscoe Coleman. The body will lie in state at the church 3pm. until 4pm for service.
