Fay Bryant Hall
Sylva - Fay Bryant Hall, 84, of Rufus Robinson Road, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, January 21, 2010. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Martha Davis Bryant. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Long Branch Baptist Church, she had attended Locust Field Baptist Church for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George B. Hall who died in 1994; a daughter, Barbara Farmer; two granddaughters, Glenda Brown and Amanda Patterson; a brother, George Bryant and a half-brother, Floyd Bryant.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha Patterson and husband, Mike, of Sylva; three sons, Orville Hall and wife, Lina, of Madison Hgt., Va., Bryant Hall and wife, Evelyn, of Sylva and Roger Hall and wife, Connie, of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, in the Chapel of Melton Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jason Buchanan, David Souderes, and Charles Carnes officiating.
