He was employed by The Fulton Iron Works Co. He leaves his widow, Mrs Anna Bauer; two sons, Harold and Ralph; five sisters, Mrs A F Margileth of Middletown, OH, Mrs Carrie Stoddehill of Detroit, MI, Mrs Fred Isselhardt, Mrs Louis Martin and Miss Theresa Bauer of Aurora, IN.
