DR. WANTON H. PARKER.
DR. WANTON H. PARKER, son of Archelaus R. and Sarah (Tefft) Parker, married first Rosannah Lemmon in Ashtabula County, Ohio, July 22, 1824. Their children were as follows: Fidelia Ann (Parker) Beeler-Mahaffey, born Aporil 4, 1828; Dr. Robert L. Parker, born January 5, 1830; Mary C. (Parker) Miller, born April 11, 1832, (in Ashtabula, Ashtabula County, Ohio.) Polly (Parker) Stilwell, born Dec. 26, 1834; John H. Parker, born at Versailles, Ill., May 18, 1838, and Hannah A. (Parker) Hayes-Griffith, born Aug. 15, 1840. (in Woodford County, Ill.); DR. WANTON H. PARKER was one of the first pioneer physicians of Stouts Grove and vicinity in the western part of McLean County, Ill., where he settled about the year 1840. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity. DR. WANTON H. PARKER, died of cholera at Stouts Grove, McLean County, Ill., June 28, 1849. Rosannah (lemmon) Parker, his first wife, died _____, 1840 (?) aged about 33 years.
