Mrs. Routh, who was a retired antique dealer, died Saturday of natural causes. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the widow of Dr. James E. Routh, former head of the English departments of Georgia State University and Oglethorpe University. She was a member of the Colonial Dames of America and Alliance Francaise.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George L. Trimble of Corrales, N.M.; sons, James E. Routh Jr. of Atlanta and Conrad F. Routh of Chamblee; sisters, Grace Fischer, Elizabeth Fischer, both of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Arthur Seaver of Pass Christian, Miss., and Mrs. William Hayes of Midland, Tex.
